2025 MMSDC ACE Awards Honoree
Golden Limousine International is proud to be recognized as a 2025 ACE Awards Honoree by the Michigan Minority Supplier Development Council (MMSDC). The theme of this year’s celebration, “Woven With Purpose,” honors the individuals and organizations whose actions create lasting, positive change and strengthen communities across Michigan. We are delighted to be among them.
As a 2025 MMSDC ACE Awards Honoree in the Health & Wellness category, Golden Limousine International is recognized for advancing community well-being by removing barriers to mobility, housing, healing, and culture throughout Washtenaw County and Southeast Michigan.
We are especially proud of our community partnerships that have made some of these initiatives possible, including:
- Partnering with WEMU to provide low-cost shuttles to the Detroit Jazz Festival
- Providing transportation for individuals to receive holiday meals through Eastern Michigan University’s “Thankful for You” program
- Ongoing sponsorship and in-kind support for the United Way and the Shelter Association of Washtenaw County to strengthen food security and housing outcomes
- UMS sponsorships to expand performing arts access to underserved audiences
- Ongoing support of and advocacy for veterans organizations, including Freedom River
Driving Economic Growth For All
The 2025 MMSDC ACE Awards Honoree recognition underscores our alignment with MMSDC’s mission to drive economic growth and opportunity statewide. The Michigan Minority Supplier Development Council is dedicated to advancing innovation, progress, and community impact — values we live by every day.
The ACE Awards honor individuals and organizations who exemplify innovation, progress, and community impact - values that reflect the mission of the MMSDC and its partners statewide.
At this year’s celebration, Woven With Purpose: Honoring the Work that Weaves All Communities Together, Golden Limousine International was proudly represented by Sandra Black and Deidre Aikens, joining fellow honorees Jalen Rose, Rhonda Walker, Herman Moore, and other Michigan leaders in celebrating connection and collaboration.
Golden’s Commitment to Community
“Community has always been at the heart of everything we do, which is why this recognition as a 2025 MMSDC ACE Awards Honoree is so meaningful for us,” said Golden CEO Sean Duval. “It’s an honor to be recognized for our efforts. We remain dedicated to delivering exceptional experiences while creating opportunities, fostering meaningful partnerships, and uplifting people and communities along the way.”
From the start, Duval envisioned Golden as more than a transportation company — he set out to create a business rooted in community. For nearly 35 years, Golden has proudly supported countless local initiatives, always committed to making a meaningful difference where it’s needed most.
“We learned early on that businesses that invest time and energy into community growth tend to flourish, and our commitment to community engagement continues to be a guiding principle,” said Sean. As a true leader, Sean personally serves on the boards of many non-profit organizations, including the Ann Arbor Area Community Foundation, the Shelter Association of Washtenaw County and Destination Ann Arbor, just to name a few, offering support and guidance for building healthier, more connected communities.
Thank you to the MMSDC for recognizing our efforts and congratulations to all our fellow 2025 honorees!
