Detailer/Car Washer/Porter

Our detail maintenance personnel clean company vehicles including luxury sedans, vans, limousines, sprinters, trolleys, and large buses, detailing interiors and exteriors daily.

The candidate should be able to perform light automotive services such as checking and adding fluids, changing tires, and recharging/jumping batteries. In addition, personnel are responsible for maintaining the work area in a clean, organized and orderly fashion. This may include sweeping, mopping, garbage removal, and other light duties as assigned by the shift manager.

The ability to perform repetitive physical labor is necessary for this position. Reliability and attention to detail is essential for this position.

Since Golden Limousine is a 24-hour per day, 365 days per year facility, the ability to work flexible shifts is a big plus. The position is full time with weekly hours, and will range up to 40 hours a week.

Starting pay scale is $10/hour.

All employees must pass a background check and drug test. Candidate must have a valid driver’s license with clean driving record. A CDL license is preferred but not required.

Chauffeur / CDL Chauffeur Duties

  • Provide safe operation of vehicles and comply with all motor vehicle regulation and traffic laws.
  • Provide timely pick-up and drop-off of our valued customers.

Position Automotive Mechanic

Department: Fleet Maintenance

Compensation: Based on experience and credentials; $18.00-$25.00/hour

Automobile/Large Vehicle Mechanic Job Responsibilities:

Maintains service operations by inspecting and maintaining all vehicles.

Experienced with Diesel engines and Allison transmissions would be a plus

Master Heavy Duty Truck Mechanic would be a plus with credentials in light automotive

Mechanic Job Duties:

  • Keeps equipment available for use by inspecting and testing vehicles; completing preventive maintenance such as, engine tune-ups, oil changes, tire rotation and changes, wheel balancing, replacing filters.
  • Maintains vehicle functional condition by listening to operator complaints; conducting inspections; repairing engine failures; repairing mechanical and electrical systems malfunctions; replacing parts and components; repairing body damage.
  • Verifies vehicle serviceability by conducting test drives; adjusting controls and systems.
  • Complies with state vehicle requirements by testing engine, safety, and combustion control standards.
  • Maintains vehicle records electronically, recording service and repairs.
  • Performs routine inspections to satisfy regulations for DOT & OSHA, including safety latches and hatches, fire extinguishers, etc.
  • Keeps shop equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs.
  • Contains costs by using warranty; evaluating service and parts options.
  • Keeps supplies ready by inventorying stock; placing orders; verifying receipt where possible
  • Repair cooling, fuel, electrical, and exhaust systems; tune engines using standard testing equipment.
  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain hydraulic systems.
  • Fabricate and weld to repair equipment as necessary.
  • Perform vehicle body work and collision repair.
  • Operate vehicles and equipment to aid in diagnostics; pick up and deliver vehicles and parts.
  • Inventory, order and control tools, supplies and materials for garage; research, compare, and locate parts, equipment, and vehicles.
  • Maintain records on all maintenance and repair work performed; track recalls, smog inspection dates, and warranties for all vehicles.
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications.
  • Accomplishes maintenance and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
  • Clean and maintain the garage area and equipment.
  • Perform related duties as required.
  • Self-starter  mentality required.
