An Evening of Excellence and Entertainment

The event featured a stellar guest list, including Golden's latest University of Michigan Partner, #10 Wolverine Zeke Berry, and fellow Wolverine #0 Semaj Morgan. Also joining the festivities was our dear friend, Michigan Insider and Steady Droppin’ Dimes podcast host, Sam Webb, along with fan-favorite and Michigan legend Devin Gardner. Esteemed University of Michigan figures such as Fred Jackson (former Michigan Football Coach), Al Borges (former Michigan Offensive Coordinator), and Warde Manuel (Current Michigan Athletic Director) were also in attendance, adding to the prestige and excitement of the evening.

Guests mingled with Sean and Alina Duval—Golden’s CEO and CFO— and the Golden team while enjoying a delicious selection of hors d’oeuvres, cocktails, wine, and other beverages. The night was filled with meaningful conversations, laughter, and the joy of sharing a passion for the Wolverines.

Golden Highlights of the Night

One of the most thrilling moments of the evening was the LIVE filming of an exclusive Steady Droppin’ Dimes episode, where Sam Webb interviewed Zeke Berry and Semaj Morgan. The players shared insights into their experiences on and off the field, their ambitions as leaders in the community, and their journey as Wolverines. Attendees had the rare opportunity to witness these exciting discussions firsthand, making the evening even more special.

Additionally, Jeff and Janna Yeakey, founders of the Freedom River Veterans non-profit organization, presented an inspiring overview of their mission. Their latest informational video highlighted the impactful work being done to support veterans, reinforcing the importance of their cause. As part of Golden’s commitment to giving back, our President & CEO, Sean Duval—who proudly serves on the Freedom River Board of Directors—announced a $10,000 donation to the organization during the event, with a check so big you had to see it to believe it! This moment of generosity and shared purpose underscored the deeper meaning of the evening and highlighted Golden’s unwavering dedication to community support.

To cap off the night, Devin Gardner and Michigan football coach Al Borges gave guests an exclusive football analysis session. They broke down recent game plays, offering expert insights and thrilling football discussions. It was the perfect way to close out a night dedicated to celebrating Wolverines football and community excellence.
