athletic teams.
The Golden Grizzles athletic teams are frequent flyers on the Golden Limo vehicles as they continue to dominate their league.
UM ATHLETES PARTICIPATE IN 2024 SUMMER OLYMPICS
Golden Limo proudly congratulates the 45 University of Michigan-affiliated athletes who competed in the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris. U-M athletes earned nine medals during these Olympic games - including one gold, three silver, and five bronze! Your dedication and achievements showcase the excellence of Wolverines on the global stage.
We want to give a special shout-out to the following medalists for their remarkable achievements:
- Charlie Swanson: Gold in the mixed 4x100-meter relay and Silver in the men’s 4x100-meter medley relay.
- Siobhán Haughey: Bronze in the 100-meter freestyle and Bronze in the 200-meter freestyle.
- Abby Andrews: Contributed to Australia’s Silver in water polo with 13 goals.
- Abigail Dent: Silver in rowing with the Canadian 8+.
- Paul Juda and Fred Richard: Key contributors to Team USA’s first gymnastics team medal in 16 years.
- Alena Olsen: Bronze in women’s rugby, the first Olympic medal for U-M Rugby.
We would also like to congratulate the talented UM Staff and students heading to the Paralympics at the end of August, for Wheelchair Rugby and Paralympic Track and Field.
