After playing a pivotal role in leading his team to victory in the 2024 College Football Playoff National Championship, Will has continued to demonstrate leadership in various arenas. His commitment extends beyond athletic prowess into significant community service efforts, including co-leading a successful Toy Drive with fellow Wolverine Semaj Morgan and Golden Limousine. This initiative not only brought joy to countless children in the Detroit area but also highlighted the importance of giving back—a value deeply rooted in both Will and Golden Limousine's missions.
The Turnover Buffs: A Signature Move
Will is not just known for his defensive skills on the field but also for his innovative entrepreneurial spirit in collaboration with the sport. He established the tradition for the Wolverine's defense to sport the now popular "Turnover Buffs" - 'buffs' being Cartier sunglasses with buffalo horn frames. After any turnover, the athlete responsible for the play wears the Turnover Buffs and models them in celebration with their defense teammates! Off the field, Will has forged ahead with his entrepreneurial drive, creating merchandise and apparel for fans to purchase, adding his own unique touch to the widely celebrated Michigan football program.
